In 1990 I won the Good Therapist of the Year Award and over the years have trialled many different products, as it is difficult to get great results without high quality ingredients. In the 90s, I imported a range of exclusive French Seaweed products. I have also attended Facial Exercise courses in France with the creators of Musicoplastie.
I am now importing Argan Oil directly from a women’s co-operative in Morocco. This is a high grade, premium oil that gives remarkable results with skin, hair and nails.

THE BENEFITS OF ARGAN OIL
Benefits and Origins
Our argan oil comes from an Organic-Certified modern mill in Morocco. The composition of this precious oil (100% Authentic Argan kernel oil is rich in Vitamin E (tocophérols)). It fights free radicals to slow premature skin ageing, prevents dehydration thanks to the elements that reinforces the hydro-lipidic barrier. It is also healing, regenerating and restores the skin’s elasticity. It repairs damaged skin and protects against external aggressions.
As a result, lines and wrinkles are smoothed out and the skin’s suppleness and elasticity are restored. Nails and hair are stronger, more shiny and resistant. Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree that is endemic to Morocco. In Morocco, it’s gaining a reputation as an ingredient in high-end, personal-care products.

Cosmetic Uses For Pure Argan Oil
Cosmetic uses
Our pure, organic, unroasted argan oil is a traditional beauty oil used to help nourish and soften skin, and add shine and smoothness to hair. Because it’s 100% pure and free from added fragrance or fillers, it suits minimalist skincare routines.
Who is it for?
Designed for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and especially helpful for mature, dry, or damaged skin. It’s also a simple, pure all-rounder for hair, nails, and cuticles.
HOW TO USE 100% ORGANIC ARGANIA SPINOSA
Facial Moisturiser:
Use daily after washing and exfoliating your face, neck and decolletage. Apply the oil by massaging gently into the skin. For best results do no use any other products on this area, they can reduce the penetration of the oil.
Daily hair Strengthener:
Apply a small amount to the palm of your hands, rub together then work through the end of your hair to maintain strength and protect from the sun.
Intensive Hair treatment:
Apply a generous amount to the scalp and end ends of your hair then massage it through. Leave on overnight then wash out in the morning..
Hand care:
Massage into cuticles and nail beds daily to strengthen nails.
Body Moisturiser:
Massage onto whole body for complete skin hydration. Always exfoliate first for best results.
COLD PRESS EXTRACTION
What is Cold Press-extraction?
The fruits of the argan tree are nut-sizes and may be round, oval or conical in shape.
The fruits are covered by a thick peel which covers the fleshy pulp. The pulp surrounds a hard-shelled nut which represents approximately 25% of the weight of the fresh fruit. Contained within the nut are one to three argan oil–rich kernels. Argan oil is extracted from the kernels, with yields varying from 30% to 55% depending on the extraction method used. Extraction of the kernels is key to the argan oil production process. In order to extract the kernels, the argan fruits are first dried in the open air and then the fleshy pulp of the fruit is removed.
The next stage involves cracking the argan nut to obtain the argan kernels. It is a time consuming and labour intensive process. Berber women, whose skills are unparalleled, often engaged in this arduous process in retrieving the kernels by undergoing a tedious manual work. The argan oil is decanted and left to rest for approximately two weeks. This allows solids suspended in the argan oil to settle to the bottom, creating a natural sediment. Pure argan oil may contain some sediment. This is a natural part of the production process and does not affect the quality of the argan oil.

The Cooperatives
The Argan Oil is produced by selected Berber women cooperatives in southwest Morocco.
Sponsored by the Agence de Développement Social (ADS) and supported by the European Union, these cooperatives serve a two-fold objective:
To preserve the threatened argan forest by finding a sustainable economic use for its products.
To improve the social and economic status of the rural Berber women.
The Production Method
The argan fruit are harvested by hand on trees in late June / July.
After the harvest the fruits are dried under the African sun.
Dried fruits which resembles a dry prune are firstly peeled to expose and discover (“l’amande”) means the kernel and is (eclateé) cracked by hand between two stones by Berber women in cooperatives, in order to get the whole nuts (amande).
The kernels are sorted, cold pressed then the oil is filtered. Special attention is taken with this process. The argan Oil is then ready to be used.
Where 100% Authentic Argan Oil Comes From
Argan: liquid gold of Morocco.
Argan oil comes from a tree that only grows in Morocco (l’arganier) or “argania spinosa”. Man tried to implant it outside Morocco, without success. To develop well, l’arganier need the dry arid soil of Morocco, the African sun and the weather influence of the Atlantic. These unalterable conditions will allow the trees to live up to 300 years.
